The Toshiba 3-pipe VRF is designed to provide simultaneous heating and cooling to different rooms or zones within a building. The compact flow selector fitted to each indoor unit enables the system to heat or cool automatically and can be used in restricted spaces. SHRM provides cooling from 22.4kW to 84kW and heating from 25kW to 95kW. Maximum separation to furthest indoor unit is 100M.
SHRMi systems offer increased outputs up to 40kW of cooling and up to 45kW of heating from a single outdoor unit. Each unit is supplied with three twin rotary compressors for improved load sharing and higher seasonal efficiency.
With innovative Toshiba technology, this system ensures greater flexibility for most applications. The most advanced heat pump system on the market offers a COP of 4.52 (22kW model). Units are available with capacities from 14kW to 135kW in cooling and from 16kW to 150kW in heating. Maximum separation to furthest indoor unit is 150M.
SMMSi systems allow greater flexibility with larger capacity outdoor units each containing 3 Inverter compressors expanding total cooling to 45kW from a single outdoor unit (increasing to 225kW with modules)
The Toshiba MiNi SMMS is a small VRF system suitable for light commercial and residential applications. Great flexibility, power and control combined in a VRF system which is light and compact. It was designed to bridge the gap between the versatile multi-split systems and the larger capacity SMMS.
Outdoor units are available in three model sizes from 12.5kw to 15.5kW cooling and from 12.5kW to 18kW heating. Toshiba mini-SMMS offers the best COP in the industry (4.61 fot the 12.5kW model). Outdoor units are light and compact, with a footprint of 900mm x 320mm. Maximum separation to furthest indoor unit is 150M.
The large choice of indoor units and sizes compatible with the VRF range ensures the ideal solution for any application. The performance of all indoor units is maximized: low sound levels, optimised airflows and extremely compact design that reduces installation time and cost.
Air to air heat exchangers can be integrated with the air conditioning system. They use exhaust air to pre-condition incoming air, thus reducing the cooling or heating load and the overall size of the required air conditioning system. A range of electric heaters is available, together with controls that enable integration with both RAV splits and VRF indoor units.
Air to air heat exchangers are now available with direct expansion cooling and humidity control where required (Suitable for use only on SMMSi and SHRMi)
